Overview
Alcohol consumption, gambling and fatal overdoses have all increased in recent years. Today, more than two million people in New York State live with some form of addiction. Our latest public awareness campaign aims to direct New Yorkers to critical addiction resources to help reduce overdose rates and save lives.
The multi-media statewide campaign utilizes billboards, broadcast radio and TV, transportation systems, digital services, and other non-traditional mediums and includes the rollout of our new agency tagline “Every Step of the Way.” The tagline demonstrates a renewed commitment to assist New Yorkers at any level of need and is part of our ongoing efforts to increase public awareness about addiction services and ensure better access to tools and resources.
