Together, you'll discuss and explore the best options available for your situation. This collaborative approach ensures that you receive the most suitable support and resources.

Emergency Support
Seeking Help When You or a Loved One is in Crisis or Risk of Harm

If you or someone you know is in crisis, we're here to help.

We offer Crisis Intervention Support, which includes techniques to calm down tough situations and help you connect with emergency services (911) if you need to.

A HOPEline counselor will conduct a risk assessment to determine the best steps to ensure safety for everyone involved. If you are found to be at risk for harm, the counselor will:

  • Actively engage with you and work collaboratively towards ensuring safety.
  • Explore the least invasive interventions to avoid involving emergency services whenever possible.
  • Connect you with emergency services if a harmful situation is already underway.
  • Follow up with emergency services to confirm that you receive the necessary support.
