The following organizations are participating in the Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program.
Contact the school or provider of your choice about these exciting educational and scholarship opportunities. They will be able to provide more information about obtaining a scholarship, as well as the course format, deadlines and eligibility requirements. Contact information for each respective program is available below.
Applications will be accepted on a continuing basis, unless otherwise noted, until all scholarships have been awarded.
Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Addiction Studies
Empire State University (SUNY Empire)
If you currently hold a CASAC or CPS credential, you may be eligible for a scholarship to pursue at least one semester toward the Bachelor of Science degree in Addiction Studies at Empire State University (SUNY Empire), with the potential for continued funding through completion of the degree program.

Associate Degree and Integrated CASAC Program
Community Colleges
You may be eligible for a full scholarship to complete an associate degree and an integrated Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) program available at 15 community colleges statewide.

Certificate Programs
Scholarship funding is available for individuals interested in receiving their CASAC certification at Alfred State College and Stony Brook University, with funding available for the 350-hour program.
Additionally, scholarships are available for the 250-hour CPP program at Alfred State College.
There are also opportunities to pursue the 350-hour CASAC program and the 50-hour Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) program online through various community-based organizations.
