Reinstate a CPP/CPS credential that has been expired for longer than one year

To reinstate a CPP/CPS credential that has been expired for longer than one year, 70 hours of training must be completed.

The 27.75 hours of training listed below are mandatory. The remaining 42.25 hours can be any training that relates to substance use disorder prevention and meets the OASAS training standards as outlined in the Reinstatement Application.

For the majority of the trainings, a certificate can be obtained through the OASAS Answerkey Portal by taking a test for each training completed.

  • The trainings marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that they are not through the OASAS Answerkey Portal and a certificate will be provided by the training provider's website.
  • Please note that the links to each training can be found by selecting the training title below.
