To better prepare counselors for work in the field and improve performance on credentialing examinations, OASAS tracks, analyzes, and publishes general data regarding candidate performance in various test areas.

The following is a breakdown of exam performance by category for the most recent Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Credentialed Prevention Professional (CPP) and Credentialed Prevention Specialist (CPS) candidates.
