New York State has issued updated guidance to providers that are licensed, certified, designated or otherwise authorized by the Office of Mental Health and/or the Office of Addiction Services and Supports on the usage of telehealth services during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The webinar to educate providers on the updated telebehavioral health guidance issued by the state and replaces the previously announced OMH webinar on telemental health guidance scheduled for the same time. While providers will be encouraged to submit questions throughout the webinar, questions submitted (specific to the guidance) will be addressed during a subsequent webinar hosted by OASAS & OMH via MCTAC on March 18, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
Who Should Attend
Staff who operate OMH and OASAS programs including staff who handle Medicaid billing and Medicaid managed care billing, as that will be the focus of these webinars.
To help ensure adequate capacity given the anticipated large number of attendees, we strongly encourage agencies to call in from a single line or have one representative call-in on behalf of the agency, who will then report back.
