Overview
The LGBTQ-Affirming Program Endorsement is an operating certificate designation for OASAS-certified programs demonstrating proficiency in creating and maintaining an LGBTQ-affirming addiction treatment space. This designation seeks to increase access to affirming and equitable addiction services and to improve outcomes for LGBTQ individuals accessing the OASAS service system.
OASAS will begin accepting applications for this endorsement on June 15, 2022 on an ongoing basis. The LGBTQ-Affirming Program Endorsement is currently available only to OASAS-certified programs but will soon be expanded to OASAS-funded and otherwise authorized entities. Three documents must be completed and submitted with a program’s LGBTQ Endorsement application:

Please note that only complete applications will be reviewed. Omission of requested materials will result in denial or delay of endorsement.

Attestation
Programs seeking OASAS endorsement and designation as an LGBTQ-affirming addiction services space must complete this Attestation and submit it by e-mail to [email protected] with the subject line "LGBTQ Endorsement Application." Only complete applications will be reviewed.
