Residential services are designed to develop or maintain recovery through a structured, substance-free setting, and can include group support, skills development related to independent living, and other services designed to promote recovery. Individuals appropriate for residential need support in their recovery but may not be able to effectively participate in treatment without a 24-hour residential setting.

    NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance guidance on maintaining uninterrupted managed care enrollment for individuals receiving OASAS residential services (Title 14 Part 820) when a case is transferred to a local department of social services.

    Procedure which allows Part 820 Providers to not apply surplus revenues for up to three consecutive years from the year of certification.
