Funding is available to support and implement evidence-based practices and strategies on State University of New York (SUNY) or City University of New York (CUNY) community college campuses to prevent or reduce substance misuse.

The New York State (NYS) Division of Prevention and Problem Gambling Services (DPPGS) of the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) is offering the opportunity for OASAS Prevention Providers to apply to receive funding to implement evidence-based practices and strategies (EBPS) including individual, family-focused programs, and/or community-level environmental change strategies on State University of New York (SUNY) or City University of New York (CUNY) community college campuses to prevent or reduce substance misuse. The funding is made available through federal funding relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act.

 

Eligible Applicants

OASAS State Aid funded providers of primary prevention services under program code 5520.
