Statewide Awareness Campaign

OASAS is seeking a vendor to provide marketing and communications expertise to develop and produce public awareness campaigns.

Overview

The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) intends to contract with    a vendor, pursuant to its discretionary authority under State Finance Law §163(6), permitting discretionary purchases up to $500,000.  The vendor will provide marketing and communications expertise to develop and produce public awareness campaigns (as detailed herein). These campaigns and initiatives will vary in size and address addiction prevention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery pertaining to problem gambling, alcohol, opioids and other substances. Some campaigns/initiatives will promote harm reduction practices and the safe use of substances such as cannabis and alcohol and responsible participation in activities such as sports betting and other forms of gambling.

 

Funding Available

Funding not to exceed $500,000.

 

Eligible Bidders

To meet the eligibility criteria vendors must meet all the below requirements: 

 

  1. Operate as a New York State Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise OR a New York State Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business.

 

  1. The vendor must have a minimum of five years’ experience in developing, creating, producing and implementing advertising campaigns, preferably related to addiction services, substance use and/or problem gambling.
