The Office of Addiction Services and Supports’ (OASAS) 2026 Substance Use Prevention Treatment and Recovery Services Behavioral Health Assessment and Plan under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) Block Grant funding is available for review and comment.
The assessment and plan outlines the use of SAMHSA’s Block Grant Funds for New York State. Block grant funding is a noncompetitive, formula grant mandated by the U.S. Congress.
Please note that this notice and application is in regard to OASAS’ ongoing appropriations used to support existing prevention, treatment, and recovery services and is not a procurement opportunity for providers.
By providing the information below, OASAS is meeting its obligation to make the plan available for public comment. More information on block grant funding is also available on the SAMHSA website.
